Good to know
- Who performs it. Christi Esteves, licensed Texas esthetician, licence #1939424.
- Deposits. New clients pay a deposit on some of the longer facials. The amount is shown before you confirm. Returning clients do not.
- Pay over time. Buy now, pay later is available on bookings from $50 to $4,000.
- Cancellations. 24 hours’ notice, please. Less than that, or a no-show, carries a fee of 50% of the scheduled total. More than 15 minutes late and we will need to reschedule.
Questions
How long should the hair be?
About a quarter of an inch, roughly two weeks of growth. Shorter than that and the wax has nothing to grip.
Does it hurt?
Some. Less than you expect after the first time, and less again if you keep to a regular schedule. Avoid caffeine beforehand if you are sensitive.
What should I avoid before and after?
Skip retinoids for a few days beforehand, and keep heat, sun, swimming and heavy exercise off the area for 24 hours afterwards.
Can I be waxed on my period?
Yes. You may be more sensitive than usual. It is entirely your call.
